“His magnificent solos run from jazz ballads to the furious sounds of township sax… music that has become his connection to his roots.” Africa Review 2012

“A composer, keyboardist and harmonica player, Glasser is intense – his tunes are joyful, driving and danceable.” Jazz Times Review 2012

Adam brings his South African vibe to the Spin with a wonderful band playing township rhythms, freewheeling grooves and some memorable songs. A multi-instrumentalist - Adam is know for his keyboards playing and his harmonica work; this has seen him play with some of the great artists of the day such as Sting, Joe Zawinul, Hugh Masekela and many more.

Adam grew up in South Africa before coming over to London where his career in music really took off. In the last decade, he has returned to his South African roots and fulfilled many of his dreams of performing in his homeland; in 2010, Adam wond the South African Music Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album and his new album, Mzansi was nominated for Best Jazz Album in the 2012 awards.

Expect an evening of joyous grooves and explosive soloing from a great band.
