Malay Tone Poem

Roger Beaujolais is seen by many as the hippest and grooviest of players around. He has been at the forefront of jazz in the UK for over 20 years and in that time has played vibes with the very best players around - he is featured on over 40 albums and has himself released about a dozen CDs as leader.  His CV includes work with artists as diverse as Robert Plant and Roni Size but it is his jazz playing that has attracted critical acclaim.

In the last couple of years, Roger has been touring and recording with Jerry Dammer's  Spatial AKA Orchestra - wowing audiences at festivals and concert halls around Europe, but the mainstay of his work in the recent past is his own Quartet. He remains a favourite at jazz clubs up and down the land - not surprising given his combination of virtuoso improvising and impeccable time sense.
