We are delighted to welcome mega-guitarist Ant Law to the Spin for the first time as he promotes his new and very excellent album, Entanglement.

An alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ant has gone on to work with artists as diverse as Mica Paris, Koby Israelite and Level 42 but is beginning to get known on the UK jazz scene as a startlingly fine contemporary jazz player. His jazz influences stretch from George Benson to the hippest of hip New York players such as Gilad Hekselman and Lage Lund, but he also gets his ideas and sounds from genres as diverse as Moroccan Gnaoua, hip hop and Indian raag. He also tunes his guitar quite differently to most players - in fourths.

A fine and distinctive voice on the British music scene. Come and check him out.
