Malay Tone Poem

Pianist, Kate Williams' live and recorded output has won her considerable critical acclaim over the years. Both Kate's last two albums were in Mojo's top 10 jazz albums of the year in 2011 and 2012, and she was one of a handful of featured artists in the Pizza Express 2 Piano Festival in 2010, 2011 and 2013.

In March 2014, she founded the Interplay Series with conductor, William Goodchild, a project that brought the music of jazz pianist Bill Evans alongside works by Ravel and Debussy - all arranged by Kate for jazz trio and orchestra.

Recent festival dates include the Bristol International Jazz Festival and the Guildhall Jazz Festival. Kate has played with many of the finest players in the country - Julian Seigel, Anita Wardell, Henry Lowther and the list goes on.

A great pianist.
