BOOKING ONLINE IS NOW CLOSED; THERE ARE STILL SEATS LEFT; JUST TURN UP.

Kelvin Christiane has been one of the leading players on the London jazz scene for many years, his blues inflected playing, and command of bebop language casting him in the true tough tenor mould of Sonny Rollins and Roland Kirk.  Kelvin has the rare distinction of being able to play with two horns in his mouth at once in a way that actually sounds great.

Kelvin has worked with many of the toppest players in the UK - Jim Mullen, John Etheridge, Gilad Atzmon and Pete King to name a handful. He is also one of the few and luckiest musicians to have worked with Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie, the most recorded drummer in history (and THE drummer on so many soul/funk albums) since the 60s.

Always worth hearing, we hope you can catch Kelvin as he struts his musical stuff in Oxford.
