'The best musician living in the world today...' Robert Wyatt

'One of the finest alto players around'  BBC Music

Described as the 'hardest gigging man in jazz', Gilad has been touring the world for nearly two decades now and mesmerizing audiences throughout Europe and the States with his gripping sax playing.

As well as working with the Blockheads, Gilad has led a series of his own groups. Each contributing a formidable body of work to this stuff that we call jazz. Of his different projects, it the Orient House Ensemble that has had outstanding critical success - a fascinating mix of jazz, middle Eastern sounds, all blended with Gilad's unerring eye for the ironic.

As compelling as ever, it's a pleasure to have him back.
