Saxophonist Dave O’Higgins is one of the most prolific and creative jazz musicians the UK has ever produced, with 18 albums released as leader since 1993. Much of the material has been original compositions and arrangements, with lineups from small group to big band, acoustic and electric.

Having studied music at The City University in London, Dave’s first big breaks were with John Dankworth and Cleo Laine, and Icelandic jazz-funk band, Mezzoforte. As well as the solo projects, Dave is a busy guest soloist across the globe, and has worked with some of the finest artists in jazz and contemporary music - Jason Rebello, Martin Taylor, Jim Mullen, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Smith, Eric Alexander, and the list goes on. Most recently, Dave has been saxophonist with the Brubeck brothers' group, playing shows from New York to London and beyond.

This quartet features some of the finest players in the UK - Sebastiaan de Krom on drums, Leon Greening on piano, and Adam King on bass. They play some of the most swinging music you will hear - straight ahead jazz firmly in the harmonic and melodic tradition, a mix of new originals and standards.  A don't miss gig!!
